Fundraiser of the Month

This month we feature a group of supporters who all took part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on May 27th 2012. 

Peter Dowsing ran and completed the full marathon in a time of 4 hours and 20 minutes, in temperatures in the mid 20’s, so huge congratulations to him.  We also had 4 Hairy Haggis teams, who all completed the marathon course, in teams of 4, and collectively raised over £5,000 for the foundation.

The weekend was great fun, and will definitely be repeated next year.  One of the teams from the Terra Firma Chambers in Edinburgh, kindly hosted a drinks reception for all the participants and the home of Roddy and Catriona Thomson, and we would like to thank them for their generous hospitality.
